Antonio Azevedo

Co-President, EA Community Builder

Antonio is a majoring in Math and Philosophy. He is currently working as a group leader for EA NYUAD, and helps build the field of AI Safety on the side. One thing he appreciates in EA is the idea of counterfactuals to measure impact-- what would've happened otherwise if he hadn't taken this specific action? This is an example of the sort of critical questions he thinks we really should be asking when trying to do the most good, and it's that sort of reasoning that draws him into EA.
